When I was in high school my father never allowed me to do anything. He did allow me to study and thats it. I received almost total freedom when I signed up and enlisted into the military. Funny thing is I received freedoms when I gave up my rights as a civilian to severe the u.s. At least I went to prom and rocked it out and I was wrestling for a while and I met several different type of people in the military. So all in all parents take away our rights seemingly for the better. But to us at the time is ruining our lives but at the end you'll realize it was with the best intentions and looking out for us. So the next time your parent says no you cant go to the party of the year think about the reasonds why they wont let you go.Chill for a minute, then try to make an alternative way to have fun.
